About the Author

Christopher Knowlton is a former staff writer and London Bureau Chief for Fortune Magazine. His most recent books include CATTLE KINGDOM, BUBBLE IN THE SUN, and the forthcoming COILS OF THE ANACONDA. He has contributed book reviews to the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. A past trustee of the Teton Raptor Center in Wilson, Wyoming, he also served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center and as a board member of Santa Barbara’s Community Environmental Council. He is an avid fly fisherman, birder, and pool player.
